If Kim Kardashian seems to be strangely quiet as her public profile disintegrates, it's because she's got a plan, and that plan involves the most useful weapon in her armory - the reality show.
The new series of Kourtney & Kim Take New York hits E! on November 27 and as we have reported, it will feature the untold story of the breakdown of her marriage.
In many ways, the divorce crisis sparked on Halloween has been a brilliant trailer for a new series of a show that could easily have run out of steam.
And Radar Online is reporting that with full editorial control Kim, 31 , has been making sure that the show portrays her as a 'victim' and Kris, 26 , as a 'lazy, insensitive villain.'
They quote a source as saying: 'The E! reality darling will be seen as the victim, and Kris will definitely be the bad guy.'
'Kim was stunned by the amount of bad press and the public relations nightmare she has endured since deciding to file for divorce.
'Kim will be using the show to attempt to rehab her image. Kim has been telling her inner circle that she has worked very hard to get where she has, and she isn't going to let her marriage and subsequent decision to divorce Kris Humphries ruin that.
'Kim carefully and methodically plans all of her business decisions, and that is how she is looking at her divorce, as all business.
Of course she is sad, but it's all about Kim's endorsement deals and paid promotional appearances.'
And Kim will be partying again soon, at least by New Year's Eve.
'Kim will be ringing in New Year's Eve in Las Vegas. The fact is Kim is extremely insecure, and she is truly afraid that if she were to disappear from the public eye, for even more than a week, her fame,' the mole added.

The spin-off of from Keeping Up With The Kardashians - finished filming in mid October, just two weeks before Kim announced she was divorcing Kris after just 72 days of marriage.
A source told celebrity website Radar: 'It was hard for Kim to watch all the footage, she has been unable to review it without bursting into tears.
'[She was] absolutely mortified when she saw on camera, the way that Kris was treating her.
'The marriage was already under a tremendous amount of stress, but she just couldn't believe that she had married this man that was treating her and her family like this.'
According to the source, Kim decided to end the marriage after the final edits had be made - but didn't tell E! producers until the day she filed for divorce - October 31.
Fans have been given a glimpse of the tension between the couple in a teaser trailer which was released earlier this month.
The ad opens with Kim, Kris, Kourtney and her boyfriend Scott Disick emerging from a helicopter, decked out in their finery.
A series of snapshots are then aired, including Kourtney telling her sister: 'If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be.'
Then a dramatic voice over proclaims: 'Not every fairytale has a happy ending'.
The footage show Kim - looking tearful at one point - and Kris coming to blows - confirming the honeymoon period didn't last long.
In one clip, Kim blasts Kris: 'Your wife has to find out you're in a different country on Twitter...'
Kris appears to find comfort in Scott, though, with the two going out partying together in the Big Apple.
'He's been out partying every night this week,' Kourtney complains, apparently referring to boyfriend Scott in a conversation with Kim.
There is also a hint that the boys are up to no good when Disick warns Kris, following a night out clubbing: '90,000 people took your picture. It's going to be on the internet'.
Kim and Kris married in a lavish ceremony in Montecito, California, on August 20.
Meanwhile, Kim is said to have frozen out her close friend Brittny Gastineau.
'It's baffling to her best friend Brittny Gastineau that she would freeze her out at a time when Kim needs her the most,' a source told Radar.
And Kim can expect more upset this week: PETA is planning on putting up a billboard in Los Angeles criticising the reality star for wearing fox fur.
The poster will show Kim wearing the fur next to a photo of baby foxes with a message reading 'Kim: These Babies Miss Their Mother. Is She on Your Back?'
Kim's sister, Khloe, on the other hand has posed for PETA's 'I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign.
Things, however, seem to be looking up for Kris since the split.
Yesterday the sportsman signed an endorsement deal with Sector watches worth a hefty $150,000.
Kris was seen looking dapper in a navy pinstripe suit and sporting one of the timepieces at a press conference at the Trump SoHo Hotel in New York.

In a sneak peek of an upcoming episode Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the trio are seen travelling to Springfield Massachusetts to surprise the Walker family.
The girls are seen shopping for clothes from their own line at a local Sears department store with Brenda Walker, who, along with her family was left devastated by their young son’s suicide in 2009, after he was targeted by his peers.
In the episode, the girls surprise the family with a door knock.
Just hours after announcing her divorce last month, Kim and her sisters appeared Jimmy Kimmel Live! stage to film an anti-bullying segment for the show.
